Jesus is a Friend of sinners! What great news! He is the Lover of your soul and a Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life for you. He died for our sins, shed His Blood, took our place on the Cross so our sin debt would be PAID IN FULL! You have been forgiven...past, present and future!
He has Justified you which means when Jesus died on the Cross, and He was raised from the dead, you were declared by God "Not Guilty". You are forgiven and He made it "Just as if you never sinned." There are no works you can do, nothing you can add to what Jesus has done, no money you can give, no religious ceremonies you can perform that would make you right with God outside of what Jesus did for you on the Cross. You can't stitch one thread into the garment of salvation. It's without money and without price, Salvation is a free gift!
All you have to do is receive it. It's so simple and Jesus made it that way. He loves you and wants you to come to Him just as you are. Because of what Jesus did for you at the Cross, you are accepted, loved, and blameless before Him, because of Him. All as a gift.
If you would like to receive the free gift Jesus died to give you, simply say..."Jesus come into my heart, be my Lord and Savior. I believe you died on the Cross for my sins, and You were raised from the dead. Thank you for forgiving me and I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I put my trust in You alone Jesus for my salvation. In Jesus Name Amen."
The Holy Spirit is God...He is a Person. In the Bible, Jesus describes this third Person of the Trinity in the Gospel of John 14:26 "But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things."
The Holy Spirit is a Gift to believers, Believe and Receive the Gift of God for you. Acts 1:4-5 And being assembled together with them, He (Jesus) commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, (the Holy Spirit) “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 11:17 "So if God gave them the same gift (the Holy Spirit) He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?"
Romans 5:5 "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us."
Acts 10:43-46 "All the prophets testify about Him that everyone who believes in Him (Jesus) receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message. All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God."
Acts 19:1 -7 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?”
So they said, “Into John’s baptism.”Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied."
